Job description Are you passionate about modern technology and traditional craftsmanship? You also want to learn everything about agricultural products and inputs such as grain, seeds, fertilisers and pesticides? Then become a process technologist! You will learn how to receive grain correctly and how to determine the quality in the laboratory. You also learn about the possibility of mechanical cleaning and how to transport the grain into the correct silo by means of a dumping device – you control this on the computer. With the proper receipt, inspection, cleaning and storage, you lay the foundation for the grain to be further processed and sold. Your tasks also include incoming and outgoing goods, the proper storage of all products, as well as maintenance and minor repairs to machines, plants and silos. The training lasts 3 years.
