Your areas of responsibilities:
- Install, configure, test, and maintain server and operating systems and applications
- Proactively ensure high levels of system and infrastructure availability, monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and eliminate potential risks within the IT Infrastructure (networks + servers)
- Prioritize incidents based on business relevance and provide 2nd and 3rd level IT support
- Maintain and improve security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Design, expand and operate cloud-based and on-premise storage, communication, and collaboration platforms
- Support IT Projects (evaluation, design, planning, implementation, and monitoring)
- Support junior IT Staff with technical direction, guidance, and structure
- Participate in IT process definition (ITIL) and continuous improvement initiatives
Anforderungen:

Your profile:
- Successfully completed apprenticeship/studies in IT or comparable qualification
- 5-8 years work experience in the role of System Engineer or IT Administrator, Service Engineer or comparable position within IT Infrastructure
- Profound experience in setting up and operating complex server landscapes and network infrastructures
- Experience within data center architectures and tool implementation, Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016, Microsoft 365, Windows 10, Windows 2019, and Microsoft Exchange
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate at all levels both written and verbal
- Proactive, open-minded, able to work independently, but also a great team player
- Motivation to take on new challenges, be creative and innovate
- Fluent in English, German would be a plus
